Welcome to our Events & Fundraising page, where you can stay up to date with what we have planned throughout the year.

If you’d like to hold an event in the hall, the main hall has a capacity of 150 and The Crow’s Nest, which is upstairs, has a capacity of 50. Visit our booking page for full details.

Regular events:

Tuesdays – Hatha Yoga from 11am-12pm. If you’d like to attend please email Nicky at healthmotivatedyoga@gmail.com or on 07773 396 380. £8.00 per session. Mats can be provided.

Tuesdays – Touch Rugby from 4 – 5pm for Primary 1-7. For further information contact Steven MacDonald at Steven.Macdonald@highlifehighland.co.uk.

Wednesdays – Sing Loch Ewe from 7.30 – 9.30pm.  For further info please email singlochewe@gmail.com. Donations welcome.

Thursdays – Badminton from 7.00 – 8.00pm. For further info please contact Mel Macleod on 07713 174 651. £2.00 per session.

Fridays – Zumba from 5.45-6.45pm. Kids accompanied by adults are welcome and the classes are suitable for all levels of fitness. For further details please contact Janis Burke at janiszumba@yahoo.co.uk. Adults £5.00 and children £2.50 per session.

Monthly Market – First Saturday of the Month

Pick up a bargain at the Aultbea Hall monthly market, with a wide range of local stalls selling everything from candles to candies. For further information, including booking a stall, please contact Chris Cooper at scot_cc@yahoo.co.uk. Monthly markets are on the first Saturday of the month from May – October 2026.

Please note that August’s market will be held on Monday 3rd August due to the flotilla on Saturday 1st August.

Flotilla – Saturday 1st August 2026

Our annual flotilla will start at Aultbea Pier and end at Aultbea Hotel – but who will have the best raft? Join us for an afternoon of fun, grab a burger from the BBQ, and maybe even win some prizes at our fabulous raffle. Timings to follow. Click here to see the rules for the flotilla; there’s no need to register beforehand.

Aultbea Hall Revival T-shirts and shopping bags

Our fabulous, and now world famous, Aultbea Hall T-shirts, are now available to buy via mail order.

The back of the T-shirt lists the names of all the bands that have played in the hall over the years, from Runrig to local legends Recovery and Free Beer!

T-shirts are £15 each, plus £3.75 postage and come in a range of sizes from small to extra large.

We also have great quality cotton shopping bags for sale for a minimum donation of £7 each.

PAST EVENTS

Talent Show – Saturday 20th June 2026
We were delighted to host Aultbea Hall’s first  Talent Show on 20th June 2026. As well as the Talent Show, there was  an exhibition of local school children’s and adult’s arts and crafts in The Crow’s Nest.

Hogmanay Dance – Wednesday 31st December 2025
We were delighted to host a Hogmanay Dance at the hall for the first time in many years! Local band Recovery very generously played for free, enabling us to bank the amazing total of £2,300, which will go towards Phase 3 of the hall refurbishment and general running costs.

Family Ceilidh – Saturday 20th December 2025
The first family ceilidh, organised by local teenager Amelia Macleod, was a great success! Amelia gathered lots of raffle prizes from generous local businesses and raised the fabulous amount of £500 on the night for Aultbea Hall.

Wedding Afternoon Tea – Saturday 20th September 2025
Our afternoon tea with a difference was well attended and we were delighted to raise £750 to go towards the running costs of the hall. The day included afternoon tea, a fashion show of wedding and bridesmaid dresses, games and display of vintage wedding dresses. 

WEST FEST – Saturday 13th September 2025
A fabulous day was had by all at the inaugural WEST FEST on Saturday 13th September, which featured local stallholders with bar, coffee and pizzas provided by Ewe Brew and North Roast. Email ffyona.mackenzie@highlandtsi.org.uk for details.

Flotilla – Saturday 2nd August 2025
What a great turnout for our annual flotilla! Big thanks to all our volunteers, bakers, prize donors, and the local fire brigade and the Tanera Luggers who joined us for the day. We’re delighted to have raised around £1,500 which will go towards the painting and ongoing running costs of the hall. Congratulations to the crew of the Peril raft, who will hold the coveted trophy until next year, and to the Drambulance for the most creative raft and costumes!

Midsummer Dance – Friday 20th June 2025
It’s safe to say that we made the most of our first dance in the newly re-opened hall! Huge thanks to local band Recovery and DJ Colin Irvine, who both provided entertainment for free. A great night had by all!

Pop in session – Friday 16th May 2025
We had a good turnout for our pop in session, which was a great a opportunity for people to come along and see our recently refurbished hall, Crow’s Nest and facilities.

AGM – Tuesday 11th March 2025
